Amanda was pregnant with the twins Elna and Edna when this picture was taken or would soon be, as they were both born in 1908. Their 9th child Russell Berson was born in 1911. A 10th child had died only two days after birth in 1900. The house was built by the Choctaws for Missionary Byington in 1834 and this picture was taken on May 9th 1901 and is shot from the westside of the house.
