The Byington/Hudson Homestead
This was the home that Judge James Hudson bought from Cyrus Byington in 1868 and which burned down from Ishtema's oven fire in 1905. The house was built by the Choctaws for Missionary Byington in 1834 and this picture was taken on May 9th 1901 and is shot from the westside of the house. This house was also the same structure known as the Stockbridge Mission and used as a Schoolhouse until another Schoolhouse was built....
